Christine Cincotta is a New York-based artist.

Christine graduated from Pratt Institute, where she met her husband.  They share their apartment with their cat.

Christine’s first passion was pottery and creating hand-built clay sculptures. For over 20 years, she has been working in watercolor and ink.  Christine is interested in exploring organic, natural shapes and the use of color and form to make original designs.  She collects seeds, pods, shells, and other natural elements.  She searches for shapes that speak to her to help inspire her paintings.

When Christine isn’t teaching Kindergarten, she is drawing with her fountain pen and painting with watercolors on location.  You can find her at parks and garden spaces in NYC.  She loves finding natural elements in the middle of such a fascinating urban environment.
